A mecca for carnivore fishing, Lac de Guerlédan has long been renowned for its pike and dense pike-perch and perch populations.

Since the lake was drained in 2015, there has been a good population of pike and perch over 40cm, while pike-perch are slowly settling in and specimens over 90cm have already been caught. Catfish have also made their appearance in the lake, with catches of up to 1m80. This remarkable site is the largest in Morbihan and is aimed at experienced and/or specialist anglers.

You can buy your fishing licence at the Pontivy Communauté tourist office sales points, find them here

Caution!

Whether you keep the fish or fish "no kill" in Lac de Guerlédan, a catch book is compulsory for all holders of a fishing permit because of the annual catch quota. You can collect them from the Guerlédan tourist office.
