Every Wednesday and Sunday between July and September, board the Napoleon Express and discover spectacular views of the territory.

You dream of admiring the Morbihan landscapes in the heart of Brittany, ancient Pontivy “Napoleonville”, the Blavet valley or even the Camors forest and you want to travel aboard old railcars from the 50s and 60s? This is possible again with the Napoléon Express! THE Napoleon Express is operated by Chemins de Fer du Center Bretagne (CFCB) over a distance of 35 km.

An unusual train

The red and yellow car is called the Picasso in reference to the artist's Cubist period. The shape you see coming out of the car is the driver's cabin.

Departing from Pontivy

Enter the hall of Pontivy station, look up and discover the inscription “Napoleonville” which is still there. Take a trip to the station, passing by the counter which houses the shop with products derived from the Napoléon express.
