Bocage and hollow path around Napoléonville.
This tour takes you to discover the town of Pontivy, formerly called Napoléonville in the 19th century. In order to defy a maritime blockade by the English, Napoleon Bonaparte decided to transform the city into a strategic military and commercial crossroads, with the construction of the Nantes-Brest canal and the Blavet pipeline. The city is revealed from a little-known angle, through its bocage and its beautiful preserved sunken paths.
