Take your children back to medieval times by signing them up for a costumed tour of the medieval quarter! They won't be the only ones in costume... the guide has his own knight's costume! He'll take them to the Château des Rohan, where activities await!
An immersive visit
The meeting point
Every Wednesday in July and August at 10.30am. Meet up at the Duchesse Anne barge to dress up in costume 15 minutes before the start of your visit!
- knight with tabard, sword and helmet
- Court lady in a long, flowing court dress and headdress
The visit and the guide
The guide Benoit arrives all dressed up in his knightly armour from the family of Rohan and begins his stories.
Follow the guide along the banks of the canal, into the heart of the medieval town, as he gives you fun, interactive explanations! After a few minutes' walk, you'll arrive at the castle. He'll open the doors and let you into the courtyard for a unique medieval experience! Shield training and medieval dances are on the programme!
You'll then return to the Duchesse Anne barge to remove the costumes and say goodbye to the guide for the next visit!
Places are limited to the number of costumes. When booking, please give us the following information about the child: first and last name, age and height.
This costumed tour is also available for the Napoleonic quarter of the town of Pontivy!
