Every Friday in July and August at 10:30 a.m. Meet at the Duchess Anne barge to dress up 15 minutes before the start of the visit!

A choice :

  • soldier with uniform, chacot and sword
  • empress with a long, flowing red and white court dress, tiara and long gloves

The guide

Guide Benoit arrives in his handmade soldier costume and begins his stories.

The visit

Follow him along the canal as well as in the heart of the imperial city with his fun and interactive explanations! After a few minutes of walking, you will arrive at the imperial church of Saint-Joseph. It will open its doors to you and give you access to this beautiful church with its sublime stained glass windows for a unique moment of empire activities! Dancing and learning fencing will be there!

You will then return to the Duchess Anne barge to remove the costumes and say goodbye to the guide for a future visit!
