Bon Repos Abbey
About
On the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal and on the edge of the Quénécan forest, the Cistercian Abbey of Bon-Repos welcomes you for a cultural, historical and artistic visit.
Nestling in an environment that is ideal for exploring (Quénécan forest, Guerlédan lake, Daoulas gorges, covered walkways of Liscuis), the abbey has seen centuries of prosperity and crises, which were brought to an end by the French Revolution. Neglected over the centuries, it wasn't until 1986 that a handful of enthusiasts took it upon themselves to restore it to its rightful place in Brittany.
Today, Bon-Repos Abbey welcomes several thousand visitors each year to discover the restored buildings, which are enhanced by a number of themed exhibitions, works of contemporary art and events.
Events take place throughout the season.

/ A wonderful exhibition by Dominique Richard
