Abbaye de Bon Repos

On the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal and on the edge of the Quénécan forest, the Cistercian abbey of Bon-Repos welcomes you for a cultural, historical and artistic visit.

Nestled in an environment conducive to discovery (Quénécan forest, Guerlédan lake, Daoulas gorges, avenues covered with Liscuis), the abbey experienced centuries of prosperity and crises which the revolution put an end to. Abandoned over the centuries, it was not until 1986 that a handful of enthusiasts took it upon themselves to restore it to its rightful place in Brittany.
Today, Bon-Repos Abbey welcomes several thousand visitors to discover the restored buildings highlighted by numerous thematic exhibitions, works of contemporary art and events each year.

Events punctuate the season throughout the year.
In 2022: The surprising sculptures of the artist Cédric Verdure
